Key Stage Guidelines:

  • Table Dimensions: Approximately 3 × 2 feet (a coffee table, card table, or folding utility table).
  • Table Cloth: Clean, freshly washed cotton cloth (Yellow, Orange, or White preferred).
  • Orientation: Ideally facing East or North so participants face the rising sun.
  • Seating: Arrange clean floor mats (Asans) or low chairs for elders.
  • Smoke Detectors: Temporarily cover or manage indoor smoke detectors near the Yagya area.

Funeral — Antyesthi (Last Rites) Item Checklist

Sacred Vedic prayers and materials for the departed soul’s peaceful journey.

  • Ganga Water, Regular Water, and a Kalash — sacred water vessel
  • Fresh Flowers — for decoration and loose floral offerings
