कुछ सपने इतने वास्तविक क्यों होते हैं?
28 अगस्त, 1883! सैमसन ने अपने बोस्टोन कार्यालय में देर रात तक काम किया है। वह दैनिक "बोस्टन ग्लोब " के प्रेस रिपोर्टर थे। वह पिछले कुछ दिनों से चौबीसों घंटे काम कर रहा था। इसलिए वह एक घंटे के लिए आराम करना चाहता था। उसने चौकीदार को 3AM से पहले उसे परेशान न करने की चेतावनी दी और वहाँ अपने आराम गृह में सोने चला गया। जल्द ही उसे नींद आ गयी। उन्होंने एक भयावह सपना देखा जो एक सहस्राब्दी के बाद से दुनिया में सबसे खराब आपदा को दर्शाता हैं। उसने एक द्वीप में एक जलता हुआ पहाड़ देखा। कुछ ही मिनटों में पूरा द्वीप उसकी उफनती धारा में फंस गया था। ऐसा लग रहा था कि सब कुछ हमेशा के लिए पिघल जाएगा। सैमसन ने अपने सपने में किसी से जगह के नाम के बारे में पूछा। उन्होंने सुना "क्राकटाऊ"।

August 28, 1883! Samson has worked till late night in his Boston office. He was a press reporter of daily “Boston Globe”. He had been working practically round-the-clock since last couple of days. So he wanted to relax well for a fre hours. He warned the watchman not to disturb him before 3AM and went to sleep in his restroom there. Soon he was fast asleep. He saw a horrifying dream that depicted the worst ever calamity in the world since a millenium. He saw a burning mountain in an island. Within few minutes, the entire island was trapped in its boiling stream. It looked as if everything would melt forever. Samson asked someone in his dream about the name of the place. He heard “Krakatau”.

सपना ने सैमसन के दिमाग को चकरा दिया था। उस रात वह सो नहीं सका। वह इतना बेचैन महसूस करता था कि उसने एक कलम ली और सपने के विनाशकारी दृश्यों को शब्दों में वर्णित किया। उसने इस कहानी को प्रकाशित करने के बारे में सोचा। उस समय भोर का समय था। उसकी ड्यूटी खत्म हो गई थी इसलिए वह घर चला गया।

The dream had churned Samson’s mind. He could not sleep anymore that night. He felt so restless that he took a pen and depicted the disastrous scenes of the dream in words. He thought of publishing this story. It was time of dawn bu then. His duty was over so he went home.

बाद में सुबह, जब संपादक ने सैमसन की टेबल पर "महत्वपूर्ण" फ़ोल्डर का टैग लगा देखा, तो उन्होंने सोचा कि यह उस दिन प्रकाशित होने वाली एक महत्वपूर्ण रिपोर्ट है। उन्होंने रिपोर्ट को जल्दी एक झलक में पढ़ा और दिन के शीर्ष समाचार के रूप में 'प्राकृतिक आपदा का यह प्रथम कवरेज' पाया, और उसे तुरंत छपने का आदेश दे दिया। इस प्रकार, उस वर्ष "बोस्टन ग्लोब" के 29 अगस्त के अंक ने इस आश्चर्यजनक खबर को प्रथम पेज पर छापा। दुनिया के किसी अन्य अखबार या एजेंसी ने इस खबर को प्रकाशित नहीं किया था। हालांकि मेक्सिको, ऑस्ट्रेलिया और अमेरिका में आए चक्रवात और हल्के भूकंप की खबरें थीं, परन्तु किसी ने भी ज्वालामुखी आपदा के बारे में कहीं नहीं सुना था। अनुभवी संपादक भी इस बात पर चकित था कि वह इस भूल को कैसे अंजाम दे सकता है! उन्होंने रिपोर्ट तलब की। समाचार पत्र को अगले अंक में माफी के साथ भ्रम को स्पष्ट करना था।

Later in the morning, when the editor saw the folder tagged “important” on Samson’s table, he thought it to be an important report to be published that day. He glanced through it and found this ‘first hand coverage of a natural calamity’ as the top news item of the day. Thus, the 29th August issue of “Boston Globe” that year brought this stunning news on the front page. No other newspaper or agency of the world had published or received this news. Though there were news of cyclones and mild earthquake reported from Mexico, Australia and America, no one had heard of volcanic disaster anywhere. The experienced editor too was baffled at how he could commit this blunder! He summoned the reported. Newspaper had to clarify the confusion with an apology in the next issue.

After few weeks, the news broke from different part of the globe that a strong earthquake and consequent outburst of a huge volcano had ruined the ‘Krakatau’. Notably, this tragic disaster took place in the same night around the same time when Samson was ‘watching’ it through his ‘super telescopic’ dream.

In the state of trance (shift from conscious to unconscious or vice versa, state of mind), our mind can see what is happening in a remote corner of the cosmic creation or future event hidden in the folds of time. If our inner self is pure, bright and enlightened like eternal radiance of the Sun, it can experience devine dream too. Such messages carry divine messages and prove to be true. Chanting Gayatri Mantra daily, while imagining the Sun at the center of both eyes, can bring the same trance effect, but remember it can not happen in a day, it need daily practice.
